Devi Kirkham

I’m a Toronto-based Therapist and Registered Social Worker with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals in mental health and addictions. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, PTSD, childhood trauma, and relationship-based trauma, including intimate partner violence.
My work is rooted in the belief that healing is not just about symptom management, it’s about understanding yourself at a deeper level. In our work together, we move beyond surface, level coping and gently explore the patterns, beliefs, and lived experiences that have shaped how you see yourself, others, and the world. From there, we begin to create space for clarity, self-trust, and meaningful change.
My approach is warm, grounded, and collaborative. I meet you where you are, while also supporting you in going deeper when you’re ready. I aim to create a space where you can be fully honest without judgment, feel emotionally held, and reconnect with parts of yourself that may have been protected, silenced, or overlooked over time.
My practice is trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, strengths-based, and person-centred. I am committed to working at the root of trauma in a paced and respectful way that honours your readiness and capacity, so healing feels possible and not overwhelming.
I hold a BSW and MSW from York University and the University of Toronto and am a Registered Social Worker in Ontario. I continue to engage in ongoing advanced training to deepen my understanding of complex trauma and strengthen the care I provide.
If you’re ready to understand your story in a new way and begin creating lasting change from the inside out, I would be honoured to support you.
